GCzII doesn't work on HTC Ozone -- 320x240 screen

Hello,
I can't get GCzII to work on my HTC Ozone, which has a 320x240 screen. Any suggestions?

Could you be a little more specific like telling us what won't work, what version you are using, etc... it is pretty tough to diagnose an issue when you don't know what isn't working.

Apologies for any confusion.

I am testing GCzII version 0.2.35.47. When I wrote it doesn't work on the Ozone, I literally meant it does not work; the program will not run because 320x240 is not a supported screen resolution. When I try to run it, I get the error "File open failed. [\storage card\apps\skin\common\320x240.txt]"

Hmm... 320x240 is a standard resolution and I think it was the same as a Toshiba PDA I used to use GCzII with so the file should be included with the program. I would try removing the application from the memory card and installing it directly on the phone's main memory and see what happens.

I don't have my Dell Axim at work to check if the file is there, but I will look at it this evening and see if it is part of the standard install, but try the above idea first as sometimes running GCzII from the card can be problematic (I do it all the time without issues, but others have reported problems running it from a storage card).

I verified that the file in the error message you received is part of the standard installation, 220x176, 240x240, 320x240, 320x320, 400x240, 640x480, and 800x480 resolutions are supported "out of the box".

It sounds like your installation is corrupted, I would try re-installing and if the issue continues move the program to the main memory of the phone and not on the storage card.
