Mee too... I haven't sussed this out yet either, very annoying.
I was thinking it has something to do with the amount of cache caches sitting in the folders??
Anyone fixed this yet?

Re: Bad sort list of caches
Are you a basic or premium member? You'll need to be a Premium Member for sorting by distance from your current location to work.
If you are not a Premium Member, the list of caches that GCz obtains from GC.com does not contain coordinate info.

Re: Bad sort list of caches
Ok if anyones interested I've created a .net compact framework Exe to fix which ever list you want from the cached Caches regarding Distances & Google Maps viewing link working again... Just need to message if people are interested, and I'll upload it.
Just hit a message and I'll see what I can do.
Of course you could become a premium member as well as stated.
Cheers

Re: Bad sort list of caches
Just start a thread in the FAQ forum with a quick guide on what your program is for, and how to use it. I will see if I can enable file uploading so you can actualy post the file here.switchez wrote:Umm... I guess, how? and on what...? the problem or the program I created.
Re: Bad sort list of caches
I think you should be able to upload the file here so that you don't have to keep sending it to people (have you been doing it via e-mail?). If you can't, I can. So if you can't, send it to me (PM me for my e-mail address), and I will attache it to your How-To thread.

You did.. I just thought there was a little too much involved too it (no offense) and was thinking of building some more features that I was wanting, so I had to start somewhere. In mine if you have the framework you just copy the exe into the same folder and run it. Thats why I was asking if anyone was interested.. I'll upload and describe either way and you can decide.

Re: Bad sort list of caches
OK, I split your reply/tutorial off into the FAQ forum. Thanks!
I had posted a How To for the other fix. Yours seems much simpler.
Thanks again
