How to Solve Most GCz Crash Issues

There are several things that seem to cause GCz to crash. The typical complaint is that GCz crashes when viewing a description, sometimes causing the application to close.

There are several fixes that typically resolve the problem:

Uninstall and re-install the current version. You will find it [URL="http://www.nicque.com/PQz/GCz.htm"]HERE.[/URL] You'll find the version you have installed by looking at the main screen in the lower left corner. At the time of this post, the current version is 0.2.35.47.

Find the \Cache_DB folder and delete everything in it. Don't delete the folder, just the stuff inside it. These are older, "cached" entries that can cause crashes.

Make sure that your language setting on Geocaching.com is set to "English".
