Unfortunatly, no. Athough Tom has expressed interest in doing software development for Android, so maybe in the futrue.elcalimero wrote:Hello

Re: gczII in Android plataform
For Android, most people use c:geo or GeoBeagle, I have seen both and they work reasonably well, also both are free and can be gotten from the Android Marketplace or manually installed. Geocaching.Com has an official app as well, but I am not familiar with it and don't know any Android user who actively is using it.

Re: gczII in Android plataform
Hello
To have a larger display I wanted to swap my TD2 by a HD2. I can get a subsidized phone from my provider, T-Mobile. Unfortunately they shipped the last HD2 last week. They have no more subsidized WM6.5 devices available now.
So I have to decide to order a Windows Phone 7 (e.g. HTC HD7) or a Android (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100) mobile phone. Since Android is much more open than WP7, my current preference is the Samsung.
Are there any new plans to implement GCzII on Android or Windows Phone 7?

Re: gczII in Android plataform
Tom (the developer) had never mentioned any plans. He said he was interested in Android, but never any actual plans.
Re: gczII in Android plataform
OK, thanks.
Yes, that's what I found in Toms thread at xda-developers. However, it is hard to find each piece of information in the 500+ pages thread. So I was not sure if I catched the latest information. Thought you are in closer contact with Tom...
Seems that I have to say good-bye to my beloved GCzII and go for c:geo
